Jennifer was drawn to massage, after a life in restaurants and retail, by the idea of supporting general health by using touch and movement. Enhancing well-being, facilitating healing and connecting with people was something she sought. After graduating from the Chicago School of Massage Therapy in 2005 she worked mainly with chiropractors until she came to Urban Oasis in 2007. She specializes in Clinical, Prenatal, myofascial release,relaxation and bamboo massages. She also believes that the essence of an excellent massage includes the client as a partner and is more effective than one given merely as a technique of body manipulation. As for leisurely pursuits, she enjoys riding her bicycle in the country, gardening in the city and reading.
